Short Biography of Arne Reimann

studied art history and philosophy at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. He received curator fellowships from the State of Northrhine-Westfalia 2010–2011 at Ringenberg Castle, Hamminkeln, and the Rhineland-Palatinate Foundation for Culture 2014–2015 at the Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral, Bad Ems. As a freelance curator and author he worked for several institutions since 2003; for example Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, KAI 10 | Arthena Foundation, Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck as well as for several artists. Since 2017 he is curator for the two museums of the district administration Unna, Museum Haus Opherdicke (inclusion in the network of RuhrKunstMuseen in 2020) and Museum Schloss Cappenberg (reopening 2022), and became the artistic director of the museums. He lives and works in Unna.
