Short Biography of Arne Reimann

studied art history and philosophy at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. He received curatorial fellowships from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (2010–2011) at Ringenberg Castle, Hamminkeln, and from the Rhineland-Palatinate Foundation for Culture (2014–2015) at Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral, Bad Ems. As a freelance curator and author he has been working with various institutions since 2003; among them Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, KAI 10 | Arthena Foundation, and Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck, as well as with numerous individual artists. Since 2017 he has been curator of Kreis Unna and in 2022 became artistic director of its two art museums: Museum Haus Opherdicke (admitted to the RuhrKunstMuseen network in 2020) and Museum Schloss Cappenberg (reopened 2022). He lives and works in Unna.
